Lupeol, salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamomic acid, phenols, and sulphur. They all have inhibitory action on fungi, bacteria, and viruses.

The US Food and Drug Administration has already approved the developmental study of Aloe vera in the treatment of cancer and AIDS In future, more controlled studies are required to prove the effectiveness of Aloe Vera under various conditions.
Many traditional uses are also reported such as burn injury, eczema, cosmetics, inflammation, and fever, which continue to be studied, and further research still has to be done.
